Kundulun Reservoir is located in the Wayaokan section of the northwest mountainous area of Qiankouzi in Xincheng, 6 kilometers away from Qiankouzi in the south. The flood water gushes out from the mouth of the valley where Wula Mountain and Daqing Mountain meet, and flows into the Yellow River through the Kundulun River. The Shimen water mentioned by Li Daoyuan in "Shui Jing Zhu" refers to today's Kundulun River.
