The Kuokesu Grand Canyon originated in the middle of the Tianshan Mountains. It was formed by the interaction of rock formations deposited over hundreds of millions of years with geological movement and snowmelt water in Tianshan Mountains. It is located in the south of Tekes County, Bagua City, Ili, Xinjiang.

The beautiful Kuokesu River in the Kuokesu Grand Canyon winds and turns, with steep cliffs and steep terrain, forming natural landscapes such as Hukou Waterfall, Nine and Eighteen Bends, and Crocodile Bay. Surrounded by mountains, the mountains overlap, the rivers in the valleys are gentle and rippling, the vegetation in the river bends is lush, the smoke from cooking and the light fog in the forest, and the yurts of the herdsmen are loomingly dotted among them, creating a magnificent and charming canyon meadow scenery.
