The Kuqa Palace is located in the old town of Kuqa County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is the place where the local Uyghur Prince Kuqa lived in Kuqa for generations since 1759. The former Kuqa Palace has been reduced to ruins, and today's Palace is restored on the basis of the original site and according to the memories of the later generation of Kuqa King Dawuti Maihesuti. The Kuqa Palace has a large area, about two to three hundred meters long and vertical. There are many buildings inside. Most of the buildings are Uyghur style. The interior is brightly colored. You can take photos anywhere. There are gardens and green spaces in the yard. The environment is very good. The visit to the Wangfu is divided into three places: the Qiuci Cultural Exhibition Area, the Wangfu Visiting Area and the Old City Wall. After entering, you can walk and visit, usually about 2 hours. The Kucha culture exhibition area displays the cultural customs of Kucha in the history of Xinjiang. Inside, there are displays of items that have been used by Daikuche King, and the life scenes of the former Wangfu family are restored through wax figures.
