Yaze Lake is located in the Kanas Scenic Area. It is composed of oxbow lake depressions in the abandoned section of the Kanas River after diversion. It is shaped like a butterfly.

To the west of Yaze Lake is the Kanas River, surrounded by dense forests. The lake covers an area of about 13,000 square meters. The lake is wide and gentle, and the lake looks like a mirror. In summer, there are groups of wild ducks, wild geese, and swans living and cruising in the lake area and multiplying. If you are a little frightened, you can see them flying up in groups and gradually, their wings flapping the water, which is very spectacular. But flocks of cattle and sheep can be vaguely seen around, white yurts are dotted, and smoke is curling up in front of the tents, forming a natural giant landscape painting with green hills and white clouds, which is pleasing to the eye.

On the prairie highland facing the river in the northwest of Yaze Lake, there is a stone pile called "Aobao", where Tuva people regularly carry out sacrificial activities and celebrate "Aobao Festival" every year, praying for the prosperity of animals and the safety of their families.
