On the mountainside in the east of Digu Temple, there is a Shennong Cave, which is said to be the place where Shennong tasted all kinds of herbs. The entrance of the cave faces west and was dug out of a bluestone. On the left side of the entrance is a rectangular stone wall, like a stone plaque. The outside of the cave is flat, covered with green grass, surrounded by pines and cypresses, it is difficult to find without a guide.

In addition to these many caves, Laoding Mountain also has a "cold spring". There is a sweet spring in Digusi Village, and the plaque at the entrance of the cave is embedded with the regular script "Guhanquan" left by the Qing Dynasty.
