Laojun Cave is located in Rongshui County, Guangxi. It is the first of the eight ancient scenic spots in Rongzhou, and it can be called "Shuiyue Cave". The clear and winding Lingshou River passes through the mountain from the back of the cave. The part that flows through the hole is about 300 meters long. Take a small boat down the back of the cave, and you can have a panoramic view of the whole cave, and watch the cliff carvings and stalactites on the stone walls in the cave. The ancient trees at the entrance of the cave are towering and shaded by the sun. Two ancient stone bridges built in the Song Dynasty lie across the stream at the entrance of the cave. The bridges are beautiful in shape and exquisite in structure, and cars can still pass through them.

According to legend, the Taishang Laojun came to this cave when he traveled south to Rongling, and he lingered and forgot to return. He said to people: "This cave is the best in the sky. The mountains and rocks are full of sulphur, the stream is clear and deep, and it will no longer be the quicksand of the west. I should hide it." So he turned into a stone and stayed in the cave forever. This cave got its name and became one of the "Thirty-six Caves" of the national Taoist holy land.
