Going up from the view of immortals is "Laojun Ligou". Legend has it that there used to be no road here, but it was plowed by Laozi Li Er driving a green ox with an iron plow, which was shaped like a furrow left when plowing the land, so it was called "Laojun's furrow". In fact, the ravine is formed by the long-term erosion of mountains and rivers.

The Laojun furrow is a ditch-shaped dangerous road sandwiched between steep rock walls. It is unfathomable and has more than 750 stone steps. In front of the ear cliff on the North Peak, there is the Woniu Stone, and the couplet next to it is worth tasting: "There is no farming in the sky, so don't blame lying idle; there are many uneven mountains in the world, so don't rest your whip."

At the beginning, people climbed up and down Huashan from the stone nests on both sides of the furrow, and people can still see the stone nests on both sides of the furrow. There is a local saying: "Thousand-foot buildings, a hundred-foot gorge, Laojun slowly climbs the ditch." Like the thousand-foot buildings and the Baichi gorge, this is one of the dangerous roads that must be passed to climb Huashan. Now, 271 stone steps have been chiseled on the upper right side of the furrow, with iron chains on both sides drooping, making walking safer.
