Laojun Mountain is located in the northeast of the main peak of Shennongjia, Hubei Province. It is named after the legend that the Taishang Laojun used to make alchemy here in ancient times. In winter, the top of the mountain is covered with ice and snow, and the mountainside is often shrouded in clouds and mist, just like an old gentleman with silver beard and white hair sitting in the clouds. Laojun Mountain is 2,936 meters above sea level. From the top to the bottom, ten abrupt mountain beams rush down like black dragons, and nine winding streams between the beams hang down like silver belts. On the left and right between the beams, ancient trees are densely covered, medicinal herbs are everywhere, wild fruits are full, and strange animals appear from time to time.

Climbing to the top of the peak, you can see the thousands of miles of Ruye in the east, and the blue sky; look at the peaks competing for success in the west, and reach Bashu directly; look at the rolling Yangtze River in the south, and the silver snakes are flying; Therefore, it is said that "thousand feet of dangerous cliffs look down on the blue sea, and hundreds of feet of high pines support the clouds". Its majesty, steepness, beauty and mystery can be seen.

Laojun Mountain is rich in biological resources, and rare trees and rare medicinal materials can be seen everywhere in the mountains. There are also many exotic animals, such as golden monkeys, macaques, leopards, wild boars, black bears, white bears, white deer, white snakes, etc. There are also records of "savage" footprints. , there is an adult's footprint on the side, one foot long and six inches wide."

At the foot of Laojun Mountain, there is a natural bridge at an altitude of 1800 meters. Under a stone mountain that looks like a dragon's head, there is a hole pierced through it, 17 meters high, 10 meters deep, 4 meters wide at the top and 5 meters wide at the bottom. Spectacular, because it is not artificially excavated, it is named "Natural Bridge". Around the Tiansheng Bridge, surrounded by mountains, verdant trees, waterfalls pouring down from the cliffs, jade beads splashing, the pool water is crystal clear, and the strange rocks in the pool are in various poses and with different expressions.
