Laojunshan National Geological Park

Laojun Mountain National Park is located in Lijiang Yulong Naxi Autonomous County. The main peak of Laojun Mountain is 4515 meters above sea level. There are many Danxia landforms in the park, as well as a sea of ​​flowers, rare animals, etc. If you live in Liming Village in the scenic area, you can enjoy the wonderful "three rising and three setting sun" landscape when you get up early.

Laojunshan National Park has a vast territory and is divided into four areas: Liming Alpine Danxia Area, Ninety-Nine Longtan Area, Geladan Alpine Grassland Area, and Jinsichang Area. The best season to visit Laojun Mountain is from May to June every year, when the rhododendrons are in full bloom, and the whole mountain area becomes a sea of ​​rhododendrons.

Liming Gaoshan Danxia area is mainly distributed in Liming Lisu Township, including 4 villages of Liming, Liguang, Meile, and Dumei, with a total area of ​​250 square kilometers. It is a relatively large and well-developed Danxia landform in China. . The most famous and widely known in the area is Qiangui Mountain. Due to the dry cracks on the surface of the red sandstone, under the action of weathering and erosion, a bulge with gaps is formed, as if a group of turtles are slowly climbing the mountain on the hillside, which is unique. To protect the geology of Qiangui Mountain, you must go barefoot when climbing Qiangui Mountain. Walking along the mountain path, in addition to Qiangui Mountain, the Sleeping Buddha, Wuzhi Mountain, Natural Buddha, Alchemy Furnace and other landscapes are also amazingly lifelike. If the physical strength is average, you can also take a battery car from the entrance of the scenic spot to enjoy the scenery of the canyon, and then take the cableway to the top of the mountain to visit.
