Lhasa Bridge, also known as Lhasa Liuwu Bridge, is 1,660 meters long, double-span, two-way and six-lane. Liuwu Bridge is the first overpass bridge in Tibet. The design of the main bridge pier is a lotus symbolizing auspiciousness, and the design of the approach bridge pier is a yak leg symbolizing strength.

The steel structure of the bridge adopts a flexible fluorocarbon paint protection system, and the structural concrete adopts plateau durable concrete and a silicone surface protection system. The bridge is far away from the Potala Palace.
