The new Liaoning Provincial Museum is located in the southern suburbs of Shenyang City, and currently has more than 110,000 collections. At present, the first floor mainly houses temporary exhibitions such as Ming and Qing jade and porcelain exhibitions, ancient Chinese stele exhibitions, European glass art treasures exhibitions, Liaoning folk embroidery exhibitions, and some celebrity calligraphy and painting exhibitions. More exhibition halls will be gradually opened in the future, and a large number of precious cultural relics can be seen at that time.
Liaoning Provincial Museum was established in 1949. It is a museum in New China. The original site is located on the east side of the Municipal Square (now closed), and the new museum was opened in May 2015. The Liaoning Provincial Museum is mainly composed of archaeological unearthed cultural relics and historical and artistic cultural relics handed down from the Liaoning area. The collection of bronzes, ceramics of the Liao Dynasty, epitaphs of past dynasties, prints of Ming and Qing Dynasties, ancient maps, and coins of past dynasties recorded in Li Zuoxian's "Guquanhui" in the Qing Dynasty have characteristics and influences.
