The Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is located in the Border Economic Cooperation Zone of Yining City. Lin Zexu, a national hero famous for anti-drug and anti-British, was exiled to Yili. Although he was in adversity, he still served the country loyally. In two years, he devoted himself to land reclamation, construction of water conservancy, benefiting the people, and was respected and loved by people of all ethnic groups in Ili. To commemorate his achievements and carry forward his spirit, this memorial hall was built here. The memorial hall covers an area of 10,000 square meters and a construction area of 2,000 square meters. There are more than 2,000 photos and objects on display in the exhibition hall.
