The Lingta Hall is located in the Tashilhunpo Monastery. The stupa houses the body of the tenth Panchen Lama who passed away in 1989. His statue stands in front of the stupa. The top of the stupa is painted with mandala patterns. With real gold Buddha image painted on it. It is said that when the Panchen Lama returned to Tashilhunpo Monastery after a long absence from Shigatse in 1989, he saw that there were 3 main buildings here, and only one space in the middle was left, so he said it was a pity. Unexpectedly, the word became a prophecy, and he died a few days later due to overwork, and later his spiritual pagoda hall was built in this place.
