Lingyang Temple is located on the bank of a crescent-shaped mountain in the south of Lingyang Village, Xuanhe Town, Zhongwei City. It covers an area of more than 20 mu.
The Daxiong Palace is the central building of the temple. It is majestic and imposing, with corridors and accompanying halls on both sides, making it tall but not out of the ordinary. In the old days, there was a pine tree under the steps of the temple, which was the only one in Zhongwei. The garden in front of the temple faces each other, and there are jujubes, pears, apricots and peaches. When the forest wind blows, there is a sound in the forest, corresponding to the sound of the pine trees in front of the temple, which makes people feel that they are elegant and refined, so it is named "antelope pine wind".
The Lingyang Temple is surrounded by mountains and rivers, surrounded by the Antelope Horn, the Antelope Hall, and the Antelope Folder. The people who live here have gardens, and every household is fragrant, as if they live in a peach blossom garden. April 20 in the ancient calendar is the temple fair, just when the jujube flowers are in full bloom. The flowers are fragrant for ten miles, and the mountains are not intoxicating; there are several large canals, and the water does not flow. Coupled with the beautiful legend of "antelope beating horns", the scenery here is even more charming. There is a poem in the old county annals: "Spring suburban selection is better than antelope, su su, songtao and rhyme are long. The gardens are full of scenery, and the green shade invites the emperor to rest proudly."
