Xi'an Lintong Museum is a topographical history museum located on the east side of Huaqing Palace at the foot of Lishan Mountain. The museum houses many cultural relics, some of which are exquisite.

The museum houses the bronze wares of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the relics recording King Wu's defeat of Zhou, the gold coffin and silver statue unearthed from the site of Qingshan Temple in Tang Dynasty, and the relic tent of Sakyamuni Tathagata (very precious Buddhist cultural relics). These cultural relics have been listed as Special cultural relics. 

The museum houses Sakyamuni's relics, which are the relics of the Buddha, also known as the spiritual bones of the Buddha. It is a broken bone relic, which will not be broken when hit, and will not be melted when burned. It is the supreme and extremely precious worship object in Buddhism. But now the relic hall is no longer open to the public.
