Litang Grassland is called Letong in Tibetan, which means a grass dam as flat as a bronze mirror. It is named after the vast grass dam in the territory. The terrain is undulating and gentle, the water and grass are luxuriant, and the cattle and sheep are flocking. The scenery is spectacular. It is the hometown of Dolma, the lover of Tsangyang Gyatso, a representative Tibetan folk song poet.
