Little Putuo is located in Haiyin Village, Quase Town, on the east side of the Erhai Lake in Dali. In the lake about 20 meters away from the shore, there is a small island with a Guanyin Pavilion built on it. Tourists can visit the island by boat, or take photos of the island on the shore, which is very beautiful.

Little Putuo can be called a small pocket island, with a circumference of only about 200 meters and an area almost as large as the Guanyin Pavilion on the island. There are two big trees growing beside the pavilion. To get to the island, you need to take a boat at the Xiaoputuo Ferry on the north side of Haiyin Village.

There are fewer places to visit on the island, and more tourists still choose to take pictures of Little Putuo on the shore. On a sunny day, Cangshan and Erhai Lake are all behind, and a small island and pavilion stand alone in the lake, the picture is fantastic and beautiful. Whenever flocks of seagulls fly by, the picture is even more moving. It will be a very interesting experience to spend a few dollars to buy a pack of feed to feed the seagulls.
