Liujiaxia Hydropower Station is a one-million-kilowatt hydropower station located on the main stream of the Yellow River in Yongjing County, Gansu Province. It started construction in September 1958, stopped in 1961, and resumed in 1964. The hydropower station is lined up with five large-scale domestic hydroelectric generating units, which are responsible for supplying electricity to Shaanxi, Gansu, Qinghai and other provinces. The plant of the power station is about 25 meters wide, 180 meters long and 20 stories high. The dam type is a gravity dam, the largest dam is 147 meters high and has a total storage capacity of 5.7 billion cubic meters. Install 5 units with a total capacity of 1.225 million kilowatts and an annual power generation of 5.58 billion kwh.
