Longhua Ancient Town is located 37 kilometers south of Pingshan Town, Pingshan County. It was first built in the Song Dynasty and formed its current scale in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
The ancient town is surrounded by water on three sides, with mountains on one side. The streets in the ancient town are paved with stone slabs, winding through the town. On both sides of the street are old wooden structures, most of which are bungalows or one-story one-story houses. It reproduces the appearance of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are many shops on both sides of the street. Walking in the streets and alleys seems to have returned to that long time ago.
On the Baxian Mountain behind the ancient town stands the Baxian Mountain Buddha. In the ancient town, there are also ancient buildings such as the Liangqiao, the fishing village in the south of the Yangtze River, the unpredictable chessboard array, and the natural fairy stone bridge. The gurgling water under the bridge seems to be telling the long history of the ancient town.
