Longquan Mountain Scenic Area is famous for its Longquan Temple. It is located in the western suburb of Sanming City, 1.5 kilometers away from the urban area. Longquan Temple has a long history. It can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. The air in Longquan Mountain Scenic Area is fresh. The undulating green hills, the gurgling water, the fragrance of melons and fruits, and the natural scenery. The ancient trees around Longquan Temple are verdant, the environment is quiet, deep valleys and winding paths, waterfalls and dragon pools, tourists are dizzying and lingering. Visitors here are like entering a fairyland. But hearing the morning bell and the evening drum, the smoke around the clouds, is illusory. In 1999, "Longquan Haze" was awarded as one of the Eight Great Landscapes of Sanming.
