Lu Tusi Yamen is a relatively well-preserved palace-style ancient building complex among the many Tusi buildings on the Gansu-Qinghai border. It is located on the banks of the Datong River and consists of three parts: Lu Tusi Yamen, Miaoyin Temple, and Tusi Garden.

Lu Tusi's yamen is the place where Lu Tusi handles official affairs and his family members live. It was built in the eleventh year of Ming Hongwu (1378). The yamen is surrounded by mountains and rivers, facing south from the north. Once it enters several courtyards, there are 226 buildings with a strong national style. The main buildings on the central axis include the big screen wall, the archway, the six doors, the Yimen, the lobby, the Yanxi hall and the ancestor hall. There are neatly arranged gallery rooms, wing rooms and wing buildings on both sides of each courtyard. There are two halls on the east side, the study room and the inner house, and the Okura-in and Dama Hall on the west side.

Lu Tusi belongs to the Mongolian nationality and believes in Lamaism. It is a powerful local special regime integrating military, judicial and religion in the northwest region. It has the power of life and death and has more than a thousand Turkish troops. Liancheng Lu Tusi ruled Yongdeng and surrounding areas for more than 560 years, and had an important impact on local politics, culture, and religious beliefs.
