"Lu Yi" is a comprehensive art school, and now there are a Catholic church and dozens of stone caves. The "Luyi" school building is built using a church built by a Spanish priest in Qiaoergou and some cave dwellings around it. It is located in Qiaoergou, 5 kilometers northeast of Yan'an City. From March 1938 to 1945 when the Anti-Japanese War was victorious and moved to the Northeast, "Lu Yi" opened four departments of literature, five departments of drama, music, and fine arts. Later, Zheng Lucheng, Liu Chi, Wang Kun, He Jing Zhi, Yu Lan and other writers and artists are all students of "Lu Yi". "Lu Yi" played a huge role in the history of the revolution and had a profound impact on Chinese modern culture and art. It is called "the temple of new literature and art". In April 1943, it was merged into Yan'an University and became Yanda College of Literature and Art.
