Luhuo County is located in Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, in the north-central part of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. Tang and Jinchuan counties are adjacent. The Sichuan-Tibet Route 317 runs through the whole territory from the southeast to the northwest. Luhuo County is the center of Kangbei and an important place for transportation. It belongs to the remaining semi-agricultural and semi-pastoral areas. At the end of 2011, the total population of Luhuo County was 45,960. In 2011, Luhuo County achieved a GDP of 359 million yuan.
