The mainstay refers to a boulder standing in the middle of the Niyang River. Because the mountains are high and the valley is deep and the river is turbulent, the boulder in the center stirs up layers of waves, and the scenery is spectacular during the rainy season.
The mainstay boulder is backed by Shifo Mountain, and the stone is engraved with the four characters of mainstay. According to Buddhist legend, this boulder is the seat of Gong Zundam, the patron saint of Gongbu area, when he practiced. The mainstay of the visit is mostly passing by when walking the Sichuan-Tibet line. The huge rock is next to National Highway 318, and many tourists will stop here to take pictures.
