China's two-bomb command base (former site)---Malan Hongshan Military Expo Park is a military commemorative site for the development of China's "two bombs and one satellite" in the 20th century, as well as the third-line command center and logistics base of the army. As one of the birthplaces of China's "two bombs and one satellite", 8 academicians including Cheng Kaijia, the father of the "two bombs", and 29 scientific and technological generals emerged from here, forming China's capable and effective nuclear self-defense force. Since then, this spirit of defying hardships and hardships has become our Malan culture today, and the birthplace of Malan culture is the former site of China's Xinjiang Two Bomb Command Base located in Heshuo Hongshan.
The Malan Hongshan Military Expo Park covers a total area of 37.46 square kilometers. There are 52 cultural relics protection buildings in total. The test base includes 19 buildings including three political department buildings, three processing plants, post office, Hongshan Hospital, and communication group.
