Located on the west bank of the Yulong Kashi River, 25 kilometers southeast of Hotan City, it is said to be the former site of the capital of Khotan in the Han Dynasty, with a history of more than 1,500 years. The site is about 1,500 meters long from north to south, and the east and west ends are 750 meters and 450 meters wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. There are hundreds of stone foundations on the site, and the southwest part is densely distributed, which seems to be the seat of the government office. From these stone foundations, we can infer the grandeur of the ground buildings at that time. In the center of the site, there is a ruined pottery kiln, which seems to be an industrial and commercial area. The northeast may be a residential area, and Buddhist temples are also here. Surrounded by sand mountains, you can see the shadow of the Kunlun Mountains as far as the eye can see. A large number of ancient coins have been unearthed in this site, such as five baht coins of the Han Dynasty, in addition to bronze Buddha statues, jade wares, clay sculptures, murals, etc.
