Maling River Canyon is located 4 kilometers northeast of Xingyi City. The canyon is about 15 kilometers long. The cliffs on both sides face each other. The valley is deep and deep. It is majestic, strange, dangerous and beautiful.
The Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau is an area with a wide distribution of karst landforms in the world. Maling River Canyon is located between the uplifted Wumeng Mountains on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau and the hills of Guangxi. The two walls of the canyon bred large-scale and well-arranged calcified rocks, which constitute the only rock waterfall; there are more than a hundred waterfalls of various sizes in the more than 70-kilometer-long canyon, like the roar of ten thousand horses, like the gap in the Milky Way, galloping down is quite impressive. Spectacular; many waterfalls hide the unknown water curtain cave, which is also one of the wonders of the Maling River Canyon.
Enter the gate of the scenic spot, take the sightseeing elevator down to the bottom of the valley, and walk along the trails on both sides of the valley. The roadside signs clearly indicate the location of each scenic spot. There are two bridges on the river: Jiangxin Iron Chain Bridge and Sea Lion Bridge, which connect the sightseeing trails on both sides of the river into a ring. It takes about 2-3 hours to tour around this circle. Basically, you can catch all the scenic spots in the canyon.
After visiting the scenery of the canyon, you can also take a kayak at the lower part of the sightseeing elevator and drift the Maling River. Drifting down the river in a rubber boat, the drop can reach more than 200 meters, which is thrilling and exciting. In the rafting section of more than 20 kilometers, there are 4 large rapids and more than 20 small rapids. The water surface is ups and downs, which is quite thrilling. The boat travels between the two mountains, the peaks turn around, and the old ancient bridges, ancient temples, ancient plank roads and other relics can be vaguely seen on the cliffs on both sides. The whole journey of rafting is about 2 hours, then abandon the boat and go ashore, and take the scenic minibus to return to the parking lot at the gate of the scenic spot.

1. When walking on the viewing path of Malinghe Canyon, pay attention to your feet, because the mountain wall is wet and dripping, the road surface may be slippery.
