Manlei Pagoda is located on the top of the mountain next to Manlei Village in the southeast of Mengzheba, Menghai County, hence the name Manlei Pagoda. Mengzhe Dam is the first dam in Xishuangbanna and also an important granary in Xishuangbanna.

There are two pagodas, the big one is 20 meters high and the small one is 15 meters high. The base of the pagoda is square, and the body of the pagoda is octahedron. Legend has it that the location of the Little Tasi Society is where the left bone of the Buddha was buried. Later, the soul of the Buddha leaped from the ground and landed nearby, so two Buddhist temples and a large pagoda were built in the place where the soul of the Buddha fell. On the south side of the tower grows a wild mango tree more than 30 meters high. It is said that the age of the tree is exactly the same as the history of the small tower. Manlei Pagoda is one of the holy places of pilgrimage for Theravada Buddhist believers in Xishuangbanna, and one of the scenic spots for Dai people and Buddhists from far and near to worship and visit.
