Manzhang Village, Mengyang Town, Jinghong City, Xishuangbanna Prefecture is a characteristic village with a history of more than 500 years, with the Dai nationality as the main ethnic group, and the traditional culture of the nation is well preserved. After many demonstrations by experts, the project invited intangible cultural inheritors from Jinghong City and Menghai County to Manzhang Village to practice traditional Dai Zhangha, papermaking, Dai boxing, slow wheel pottery making, Beiyejing skills and calabash On-site training such as silk, high rise, and elephant foot drum production fully maintains the traditional cultural characteristics of the Dai people. The operation concept of Manzhang Cultural Eco-Village is not to be commercialized, but to fully preserve the original appearance of the Dai villages, so that those tourists who come to Banna who want to understand and experience the traditional culture of the Dai people can enter the houses of the Dai people to listen to it. Our story, understand and love the traditional culture of our Dai people, and even make some handicrafts and bring them back to their hometown, so that more people can know the culture of the Dai people.
