Maokong is located on the hill of Muzha tea area in Wenshan District, Taipei. Maokong used to be a well-known tea-producing area in Taipei, and the Muzha Tieguanyin tea produced is one of the top ten famous teas in Taiwan. It has become a unique culture in Taipei to come to Maokong to drink tea and view the scenery.

To visit Maokong, you can choose to take the trail or take the cable car. If you are brave enough, you can take the crystal car with the "eye of the cat cable". If you visit Maokong along the trail, you can not only enjoy the scenery slowly, but also avoid the crowds and stroll along the andesite and pine plank roads.

In the Maokong area, there are a total of 5 to 60 teahouses, most of which have unique tea dishes. The government officially divides the Maokong area into red, yellow, and blue areas according to history, scenery and ecological perspectives. The red area It has cultural and historical characteristics; the yellow zone has a bird's-eye view of Taipei with a wide view; the blue zone emphasizes eco-tourism, and the area division can be seen on the cable car guide map, and you can choose where to go to taste tea according to your needs.

It is located on the 1st floor of No. 37-1, Lane 38, Section 3, Zhizhi Road. The dishes here are delicious and generous, and there are many set meals at affordable prices. Maokong has beautiful scenery all year round. In addition to tea trees, apricot blossoms bloom in January and February every year, and lupine flowers mixed in tea trees will also bloom; spring tea is picked in April and May, and tung trees are also in full bloom at the same time. It is known as "Moon Snow"; from June to September, you can taste the flavor of green bamboo shoots; from December to January is the harvest season of winter tea.
