The Mars-1 base is located in Jinchang City, Gansu Province. Its Gobi landform, red rock mass and other significant topography and natural conditions are very similar to Mars. It will be constructed under the guidance of China Astronaut Research and Training Center and China Aerospace Science and Technology International Exchange Center. It is the first Mars-themed immersive real-scene experience base in China. It uses multiple innovative methods to truly restore the simulated living environment of astronauts on Mars through Mars survival scene simulation and sci-fi landscaping. Relying on the Martian landform scene and relying on the core content of aerospace, the base has created a variety of popular research projects, entertainment activities, themed accommodation and catering, and space culture experience projects.
