The Martial Arts Field of the Taichung Criminal Police Department is located in the West District of Taichung City. It is the martial arts hall where prison officials practice martial arts daily. It is the only remaining martial arts field in the city.
The Martial Arts Field complex includes the main building of the Martial Arts Field and the auxiliary building on the east side. The main building is built in a symmetrical pattern, and there is a shrine behind the center. There are seats, compared with similar buildings in the same period as the Wude Hall, it is a small martial arts facility. The architectural form is a typical martial arts arena, with elevated bases, façade imitation wood structure and pilaster decorations, and a mother-style roof construction, decorated with large ghost tiles and Bofeng boards.
