The Mausoleum of King Yarkand Khan is also called Aletun Mazha, "Aletun" means "gold" in Chinese, and "Mazha" means "grave". The entire King's Mausoleum covers an area of ​​1,050 square meters. It was first built in 1533, and it took a hundred years of expansion to form today's scale. Inside the mausoleum are 11 generations of royal family members including the founder of the Yarkand Khanate. The Yarkand Khan Mausoleum has a unique style in terms of layout and pattern decoration, and is an excellent Islamic architectural art. It has important historical value for understanding the political, economic conditions, living habits, and burial methods at that time. At present, the king's mausoleum is well preserved and open to the outside world. It is a part of the Yarkand style tourist area in Shache County.
