Tangyu Hot Spring in Meixian County, also known as "Phoenix Spring" and "West Tangyu", is located at Tangyukou at the northern foot of Taibai Mountain in Meixian County, at the entrance of Taibai Mountain Forest Park, also known as Tangyu Hot Spring in Taibai Mountain, 100 meters away from Xi'an km or so.
According to records, Yang Jian, Emperor Wen of the Sui Dynasty, once built "Fengquan Palace" here as a summer bathing place. Tang Xuanzong visited it three times and named it "Fengquan Tang". There are more than 10 springs in Xitangyu, which flow out from the deep underground along the crevices of ancient rocks, big as fists and small as eyes, all year round.
Due to the influence of geothermal heating, the temperature is very high and remains around 60 degrees all year round.
