Meng Huo City

Menghuo City is located at the junction of Shimian County and Mianning County in Sichuan Province. It is famous for the place where Zhuge Liang captured Menghuo for the seventh time during the Three Kingdoms period and the plateau ecological meadow. The average altitude is about 2600 meters. The beacon tower was built here by Meng Huo and his subordinates during the Three Kingdoms period to resist the important pass of the Shu army. According to legend, when the torches were lit on the beacon tower, the soldiers in the city put down their work one after another, got up and assembled to prepare for battle and resist the foreign enemies.

Moon Lake is named "Moon Lake" because of its crescent-shaped surface. According to legend, it is the place where Meng Huo and Mrs. Zhu Rong fell in love. From April to May, the primroses around the lake are in full bloom, and the sea of ​​flowers is boundless; in the golden autumn, the red leaves are fiery and colorful.
