Wuhou Temple in Mian County, Hanzhong is located on the side of National Highway 108, 3 kilometers west of Mian County. It was built in the sixth year of Jingyao's reign in Western Shu (AD 263). It is the earliest and only temple built by the emperor (Liu Chan, the queen master of Shu) among the many Wuhou temples in China. It is about an hour's drive from downtown Hanzhong.
Compared with the bustling Wuhou Temple in Chengdu, the Wuhou Temple in Mian County is much more elegant and quiet. Wuhou Temple in Mian County is a relatively large ancient building complex in southern Shaanxi. Over the past thousand years, Wuhou Temple has undergone many repairs. Most of the existing buildings maintain the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Buildings, Jimen, Worship Hall, Main Hall, Chongsheng Shrine, Guanjiang Tower and other ancient buildings, you can walk straight through the central axis when visiting.
