The Military Dependent Village Museum is a museum rebuilt from the idle building of the former Hsinchu City Investigation Bureau. It mainly displays the military dependent village culture in Hsinchu City. The first floor of the museum introduces the history of the military dependents' village, the second floor is the life situation area of the military dependents' village, and the third floor introduces the process of reconstruction and the current status of the military dependents' village. There is also a very special "aircraft auxiliary fuel tank water tower" at the entrance of the museum. This water tower is converted into a water storage tower by the residents of the military dependent village using the discarded auxiliary fuel tank of the F100 fighter jet, which symbolizes the virtues of diligence and thrift in the military dependent village.
