Mount Fanjing is located in the Tongren area in the northeast of Guizhou Province, with an altitude of 2,572 meters. It is the main peak of the Wuling Mountains, a member of the United Nations "Man and the Biosphere" protection network, a world natural heritage, and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. The total area is 567 square kilometers. Primitive prehistoric is the landscape feature of Fanjing Mountain. The whole area is majestic, with overlapping peaks, criss-cross streams and waterfalls. Its iconic attractions include: Hongyun Jinding, Yuejing Mountain, Ten Thousand Meter Sleeping Buddha, Mushroom Stone, Ten Thousand Volumes of Sutras, Nine Dragon Pool, Phoenix Mountain, etc.

Fanjing Mountain was originally called "Three Valleys" and got its name from "Brahma Pure Land". Buddhism here was founded in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Ming Dynasty. It is a famous Buddhist mountain with a long history. In addition, Mount Fanjing is also rich in wild animal and plant resources, including rare species such as Guizhou golden monkey and Davidia involucrata.

Fanjing Mountain is the main peak of the Wuling Mountains. It is located at the junction of Jiangkou, Yinjiang and Songtao counties. In addition, Mount Fanjing also has a red leaf viewing area. Every autumn, the forests are fully dyed, and the red leaves and the temples on the mountain complement each other. Here, you can sit on the cable car and overlook the continuous red leaves, or you can walk in the mountains and feel the fiery red leaves on both sides and above your head.

Hongyun Jinding is the core of Foshan. The two halls stand on top of Juefeng, the two Buddhas stand next to each other, and the creation of the boundless dharma realm is the finishing touch of the Bailian Society in the Southern Song Dynasty in the construction of "pure land on earth", a miracle in the history of Buddhist development in famous mountains, and a flower blooming above the red clouds. Wonderful. 

Take a sightseeing bus from the entrance of the scenic spot to the cableway, then take the cableway up and walk forward to the top, which is the famous "mushroom stone". Just like the name, it is big on the top and small on the bottom, shaped like a mushroom, about ten meters high, and has stood on the mountain for 1 billion years. On the left of the top of the mountain is the Red Gold Cloud Top, and on the right is the Old Gold Top, which is very spectacular.

must see tips

1. From Dongshanmen to the lower station of the cableway and from Xishanmen to Mianxuling are all narrow winding roads with many bends and roads. In order to protect the safety of tourists, tourists need to take a sightseeing car to reach the starting point of the corresponding hiking trails.

2. The east gate is in Heiwan River, Jiangkou County, and the west gate is in Huguo Temple, Yinjiang County. The two gates cannot be used together.

3. After entering the park, Dongshanmen (Jiangkou County) tourists need to take a sightseeing car to the lower station of the cableway (the starting point of the hiking trail). It is recommended that tourists take the cableway up the mountain (about 4 hours on foot). In order to ensure the safety of tourists Passage is prohibited, and the same-day ticket sales stop at 15:00; Xishanmen (Yinjiang County) tourists need to take a sightseeing bus to Mianxuling (the starting point of the hiking trail) after entering the park, and the same-day ticket sales stop at 14:00, and there is no cableway at the west gate.

4. Passengers whose physical condition is not suitable for high-altitude travel and who are at risk of inducing diseases (heart disease, high blood pressure, mental disorder, acrophobia, habitual abortion, etc., as well as some early and late pregnant women and some elderly passengers with limited mobility ), drunk, etc., please refuse to take the cableway, please choose carefully whether to visit the Fanjingshan Ecotourism Area.

5. The Fanjingshan Ecotourism Area is a mountain-type scenic spot with high altitude, large temperature difference, and erratic weather. When the sudden change of weather affects safety, some scenic spots and cableways will be temporarily closed. Please choose according to your own conditions. Visitors entering the park should prepare corresponding rain gear and take measures to keep warm and cold.

1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the eco-tourism area, and smoking is prohibited in the entire area. It is strictly forbidden to bring fire sources and fire, controlled knives, flammable and explosive, poisonous and harmful, alien species, large-scale public address equipment, signal interference facilities and other items into the park.
2. It is strictly forbidden to bring pets into the eco-tourism area, hunt wild animals, pick flowers and trees. Tourists should take good care of the animals and plants in the area, and it is forbidden to swim, play in the water, release animals and fish in the rivers and other waters in the area.
3. The use of drones and other aircraft is strictly prohibited in the eco-tourism area, and tourists are strictly prohibited from walking in the sightseeing car lane. If there is a need for scientific research, publicity, etc., the approval of our bureau is required.
4. Except for the operation and management vehicles of the scenic spot, special vehicles approved by the competent department, and vehicles that need to enter the scenic spot due to work, other vehicles are not allowed to enter the ecotourism area (vehicles of various units and homestays in the area are open during peak season 07:00-20:00 , off-season 08:00-20:00, no entry and exit).
