The Museum of Chinese Nationalities has a large area, about 1.2 kilometers long and 300 meters wide. It is divided into two gardens, the north and the south, with the Minzu Garden Road in the middle. There are multiple entrances to the Ethnic Park, which can be entered from all directions. After entering, walk around the ethnic areas and watch performances. It takes about half a day.

There is a lake in the north and south gardens of the Museum of Chinese Ethnic Groups, and buildings of various ethnic groups are built along the lake. On the south side, there are characteristic buildings of Uyghur, Mosuo, Naxi, Bai, Zhuang and other ethnic groups. Each building has a cultural exhibition of its own ethnic group. 2. Food and beverages purchased in the park are more expensive. It is recommended to bring your own dry food and drinking water before visiting.
