Namula Cuo, also known as "Na La Cuo", also known as "Tianmu Shen Lake", is actually composed of two closely connected lakes. Even the local guides have different opinions about the origin of its name. A more credible statement is that there is Namura Mountain there, and the lake at the foot of the mountain is called Namula Cuo. "Namura" means "high place" in Tibetan, and as the name suggests, this lake is located at a very high altitude.
