Nanlong Buyi Ancient Village covers an area of about 2 square kilometers. There are 218 households and 813 people living in the village. It is an ancient village integrating beautiful natural scenery, rich ethnic customs and mysterious Buyi architecture.
The houses in the ancient village are arranged in the shape of nine palaces and eight trigrams, and the lanes are interlocking and connected. People who are not familiar with it are like entering a maze. Looking from a distance, the village is surrounded by more than 300 towering ancient banyan trees with intertwined roots and various shapes, and more than 160 Buyi railing-style stilted buildings are looming.
The sound of weaving in the village can be heard endlessly, and the sound of chickens and dogs can be heard.
