On a steep hillside in Niemalong, there is a practice cave where Master Padmasambhava used to practice. There is a small temple in front of the cave, which is thought to be built by later generations to commemorate the master and protect the holy site. Legend has it that Padmasambhava once recited the "Longevity Sutra" 100,000 times in this cave. People believe that worshiping this cave can increase the life of themselves and their relatives. In addition, it is said that the fifth Luosang Gyatso also recited the "Longevity Sutra" in this cave for 14 months.
