"Niba" is a Tibetan transliteration, meaning "Yangpo". Niba Village is an ancient and peculiar century-old village. It faces south and is built on the hillside. The clear Cheba River meanders through the village. The Mani flags in front of the village tremble in the wind.

Looking at Niba Village from a distance, the houses in the village have similar architectural styles, patchwork, row upon row, and antique flavor. From low to high, layers are superimposed, and every household is connected to form a rigorous and spectacular defensive whole. Looking at the sturdy structure and majestic posture, it is clear that it is the need to prevent theft and banditry and resist invasion in the war-torn era. Especially under the blue sky and white clouds, the highland barley poles on the roofs of every household are as dense as cobwebs, criss-crossing, adding a sacred and mysterious color to the cottage.

Everywhere in the village, there are zigzagging plank roads that go up layer by layer. One side of these plank roads is fixed by the mountain, and the other side is supported by countless logs. Effective living area, people are used to drying food on these wooden racks. The residences in the small villages are very dense, and every family is connected by walls.
