Niubeiliang National Forest Park is located in Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City, on the southern slope of Qinling Mountains. Provincial Highway 102 leads directly to the park entrance. In the park, there are dense virgin forests, quiet Tanxi waterfalls, unique canyon scenery, rare stone forest landscapes, and unique alpine landscapes composed of Qinling firs, rhododendron forest belts, alpine meadows and Quaternary glacial relics.
It is about an hour's drive from downtown Xi'an. When tourists enter the secluded forest, enjoy the green mountains and green waters and natural scenery with southern characteristics, experience the folk culture such as language, food, and dwellings that are different from those in the north formed at the intersection of Qinfeng and Chuyun. "The Backbone of China" has a glimpse of the wonderful scenery of China.
Niubeiliang Forest Park has a very large area and is planned to be divided into four scenic spots and three functional areas. At present, there are three scenic spots that have been built and opened to the outside world: the entrance comprehensive service area, the takinu valley landscape recreation area, the Liuchiling peak forest scenic area, and the Niubeiliang alpine scenic area.
