The Niyang River originates from the west side of Mila Mountain and flows into the Yarlung Zangbo River on the south side of Bayi Town. It is the main river in Gongbu Jiangda County and Bayi District. The river is right next to National Highway 318. Driving on this section of National Highway 318, the river will accompany you all the way.
The landscape around the Niyang River is beautiful, with plateau mountains and rivers stretching all the way, especially the area near the Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon downstream is very beautiful.
