I took a minibus from Jiexiu to Pingyao. Get off in front of Pingyao Railway Station, walk down to the west gate of the ancient city, and live in the Lijia Inn near the west gate. Then come out and walk along the root of the city wall to the north gate. It feels very far to walk. The ancient city has a total of six gates, two in the east and one in the north and one in the south. Visit the city wall from the south and north gates. I climbed the wall from the north gate and walked a short distance on the wall. The north gate tower is tall and magnificent, adding a lot of color to the ancient city wall. In front of the gate tower, you can watch the houses in the ancient city and the street view outside the ancient city.

The North Gate Tower is located in the Pingyao Ancient City Scenic Area, above the North Gate of the Pingyao Ancient City Wall. Compared with the South Gate Tower, the North Gate Tower is a little smaller, but it is already very beautiful and magnificent.
