There were only three or four gravel roads on the way, and the longest one would not exceed one kilometer. All because of previous mudslides that covered the tarmac. Absolutely most of the distance is driving along the Yellow River. Although it is only two-way and two-lane, it is very safe to drive because there are very few cars on the road. There is only one road from Zhongwei to North Long Beach, so even if there is no signal on the mobile phone, there is no need to worry about driving the wrong way. Going in September, I personally think that the best time to shoot on Route 66 is from 7:00 am to 9:00 am and from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
