At the foot of North Xiangshan Mountain, there used to be Han Wei Gong Temple, which was dedicated to Han Qi, a famous anti-Xia general in Song Dynasty, but the temple has been abandoned. North Xiangshan is a natural barrier to the north of Longde County, and the Xilan Highway runs from the foot of the mountain to the west. In August 1935, when the 25th Army of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army passed through Longde County during the Long March, it seized this high mountain with an altitude of 2,313 meters, quickly attacked the Longde County, and wiped out the defenders. In 1980, the county people's government built a "North Xiangshan Martyrs Cemetery" covering an area of 14 mu at the forehead of Xiangshan "Elephant". Li Youlu, the old Red Army, Zhang Baojiang and Zhang Xinxue, who died in the self-defense counterattack on the front line of Laoshan, are buried here.
