The Nujiang Bridge is located in Liuku Town, Lushui County, Nujiang Prefecture, Yunnan Province. It started construction in January 1988 and was delivered for use in June 1991. The bridge is 678 meters long and 15.8 meters wide. The continuous bridge with prestressed reinforced concrete ranks second in Asia with its ultra-long single-air span, and becomes the only traffic lifeline connecting the east and west sides of Liuku City.
