Seventy-two turns of the Nujiang River are located in Basu County, Qamdo area, on the southern Sichuan-Tibet line between Qamdo Bangda and Basu, also known as "Ninety-Nine Turns in Sichuan-Tibet". Turn 72 of the Nujiang River is not a scenic spot, but almost all people who pass by here will stop for a while when they reach the commanding heights of the road to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the surrounding mountains.

The 72nd turn of the Nujiang River goes westward from Bangda, crosses Yela Mountain at an altitude of about 4,658 meters, and then spirals down to the Nujiang Canyon at an altitude of about 3,100 meters. The relative height difference is nearly 1,500 meters, and the winding road is about 12 kilometers. As the only way to pass through the southern Sichuan-Tibet line, the road is narrow and the slope is steep. For many riders or riders, it is because of its danger that it is more challenging. Pedestrians who pass by here every year are all full of this road. sigh.
